Professional Interests and Expertise

Member of the Learning Support Team at Christ The King:

My role as an LSO is to support teachers in the classroom and to help students engage in all areas of their learning whilst offering support. I work  with a team of professionals and embrace all aspects of the school curriculum adhering to Christ The King's Vision and Mission Statements.

Administration Support/Reception:

My role each Wednesday is to work closely with the Office Manager and support the Admin team in all office duties.

School Banking Coordinator:

This position incorporates having a working relationship with a Commonwealth Bank representative in all areas of the school banking system and to keep updated on all changes. Whilst the introduction of token swap days has been successful in helping to inspire and encourage the students, the aim of school banking is for students to develop an understanding of saving each week and to set and achieve goals.This role is performed each Wednesday throughout  the school term.

Recent Professional Development:

- Cert IV Education Support (CHC402130)

- Microsoft Excel:  (Gordon Tafe)

- Administration training incorporating direct debits/creditors.

- Coaching: Literacy comprehension,Running Records and analysing student data.


I have worked at Christ The King since 2010 and I feel privileged to work there. I love the fact that it has a strong school community that is inclusive, dedicated, committed and strives to bring out the best in all students and staff. I am encouraged and offered opportunities to continue my personal and professional growth with purpose. My fulfilment comes from working with students and seeing them develop and grow in confidence, resilience, academically and personally as they become independent learners. My satisfaction comes from knowing I am part of a team that can make a difference and does. This is an exciting journey we are on together.
