Professional Interests and Expertise:

Member of Christ the King STEM ( Science Technology Engineering & maths) Committee: My role as a member of the STEM committee is to assist other teachers (both at Christ the King and across the system) in their understanding of STEM and design learning opportunities that will prepare students for their future.

Student Leader Coordinator: I work closely with our 14 Student Leaders to develop their leadership skills through character based learning opportunities. Through weekly meetings we aim to achieve set goals, develop a sense of respect, inspire and motivate their peers and promote a culture of school pride and belonging.

Social Justice: In July of this year I will travel to Viqueque to work with our partner parish, Mary Immaculate. From this immersion in faith and culture, I hope to be able to contribute to the ongoing work we do with our students in understanding Catholic Social Justice teachings

I am lucky enough to belong to a school community that supports each other so that we can provide the best opportunities for their students. I want to part of team that encourages students to thrive as learners. As a passionate teacher I see my role as a teacher who provides learning opportunities that encourages students to take risks with their learning…that is what drives me to be the best teacher I can be.
