Marg Gill - Administration Officer

Christ the King Catholic Primary School is a big part of who I am today. This school has been a part of my life and I have been a part of it since its opening in 1965. l was one of the first pupils to attend and then as a parent I sent my six children through the school. Throughout the 21 years I was a parent, I spent 15 years on the Parents and Friends Committee (Community Group), at times taking on the role of President and Vice President and for many years helping to coordinate school events and fundraisers.

In 2003 I was excited to be offered the opportunity to join the staffing team, taking on the role of Maintenance Coordinator. After a few years I was given the chance to broaden my horizon and professionally challenge myself when I took on my current role as Administration Officer. In this role I am lucky enough to still be able to work alongside the Community Group helping achieve goals in the community.

Over my history with the school, including the time on staff, the children, families and staff have been my drive and love for getting up for work in the morning. I will continue to work to help make the school the best it can be for the children, families, teachers, management and in the wider community. This school is in my blood and will continue to be part of my future as my next generations attend.
