Digital Technologies

At Christ the King Primary School we prepare students for the future by ensuring they are 21st century learners. The use of digital technologies at Christ the King Primary School is integrated into all learning areas. Students use digital technologies to enhance their learning, creativity and ability to think logically.

Students are encouraged to think for themselves and problem solve when using digital technologies to create digital solutions. The students have access to I-pads and chrome books and there are interactive whiteboard in each classroom. Students use the online reading program 'Sunshine Online' to enhance their reading skills and all students have access to an online mathematics program 'Mathletics' as a tool to support their mathematics learning.

There is also a focus on students becoming creators of digital technology which will prepare them for the jobs of the future.  Students are involved in activities that involve coding and programming using I-Pads, Chromebooks and robots.
