Prep Students Reflect on the Pentecost Story

In the Prep Learning Community, our students have been exploring the Pentecost story as part of their Religious Education learning. Together, they reflected on how the flames symbolise the presence of the Holy Spirit, and how the Holy Spirit gave the disciples the courage and strength to share Jesus’ message with others.

After hearing the Bible story, each student created their own colourful headband, complete with paper flames, to represent the moment described in Scripture — when the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus’ disciples, appearing like tongues of fire resting on each of them.

This creative and hands-on activity provided a meaningful opportunity for our students to engage with the Pentecost story and share in their faith together.
