Professional Interests and Expertise: I have worked in Catholic Education for the past 8 years in the North Western suburbs of Melbourne. During this time I have worked as both a classroom teacher and a specialist teacher, in the areas of Physical Education and Science. I have a passion for Science and Literacy, and a drive to motivate and encourage students to explore questions and seek understanding about the world around them, through learning that is both authentic and meaningful. I am interested in developing students’ conceptual knowledge so as to enable them to draw on, and use what they already know to grasp new topics and concepts.

Recent Professional Development:

  • Melbourne Symphony Orchestra – The PizzIMMERSION

Drive: I am an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who believes in, has a passion for and promotes inclusive education, student-centered learning and differentiated instruction. I strive to provide students with high quality teaching and the best possible conditions for learning, so as to equip them with the knowledge, skills and dispositions they need, to become lifelong learners, who explore questions and seek meaning about the world around them.
