Kelly Toyne

I have two children at Christ the King – one in Year 6 and the other in Year 4.

I also work full time as an Advisor to a Member of Parliament. I have been in this role for over 12 years and I worked for a different MP prior to my current position. My previous roles were in Community Development.

We have seen such a transformation of Christ the King School since our children began here in 2015. What we felt was a great school when our children began has continued to evolve into an even better one. My hopes for my time on the School Advisory Council is that I can assist the continuation of this growth so that Christ the King continues to be an amazing experience for our children and the families at Christ the King.

As this is my first year, I don’t have any personal achievements as a School Advisory Council member. However during our time at Christ the King, I am proud of the direction the school has taken over the last few years. The new uniforms, the building redevelopments and the work towards becoming a Resource Smart school are some of the amazing achievements that past and present School Advisory Council members can be proud of.
