Shona Jenyns

I have completed a Masters of Teaching (Primary and Early Childhood) and a Bachelor of Applied Science, both through Deakin University.

My teaching philosophy is centred on my unwavering love of learning and my passion for inspiring and working with young people. I am driven to ensure individuals have a positive and transformative educational journey, aiming to ignite a lifelong love of learning that extends far beyond the classroom.

I firmly believe that students are the catalysts for change. As a teacher, my role is to empower them, providing a safe and inclusive space for their thoughts, ideas, and contributions, in order for them to flourish.

I am dedicated to helping students develop strong literacy and numeracy skills. Whether it’s writing engaging stories, exploring a wide range of literature, or mastering mathematical concepts, I strive to make these subjects come alive through interactive and hands-on learning. By creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment, I aim to instil a sense of confidence and enthusiasm within each student, nurturing their growth and academic success.
